Profile: With many of the best qualities that brewers look for when brewing American styles of beer, this strains performance is consistent and it makes great beer. Fruitier and more flocculant than Wyeast 1056 American Ale yeast, slightly nutty, soft, clean with a slightly tart finish. Ferment at warmer temperatures to accentuate hop character with intense fruitiness, or ferment cool for clean, light citrus character. Expext good attenuation, but this will vary with grist makeup, mashing protocol, or other wort characteristics. Reliably flocculent, producing bright beer without filtration.
Alcohol tolerance: approximately 10% ABV
Apparent attenuation: 72-76%
Temperature range: 60-72°F (15-22°C)
The yeast grew, but there was a glitch with Robobrew. That was resolved last Friday and the new slap pack is in the primary as of about two hours ago. I grew it up a bit with DME; I expect it will be super. Great customer service!
I had to order a single bag of wyeast due to a mistake on my part and I received it very wuickly
