Extract with Specialty Grains Homebrew Kit
I.P.A.s were traditionally brewed with more malt and hops than regular pale ales to make it strong enough to survive the trip from England to India. English soldiers got accustom to the highly hopped beer and demanded it when they got back to England. Malty and hoppy at the same time.
Makes 5 gallons, or approximately 48 bottles of beer.
- Malt Base: 6 lb Gold Malt Extract, 1 lb Muntons Light Dry Malt Extract
- Speciality Grains: 1 lb Caramel 60L
- Hops: 2 oz Cluster (Bittering); 1 oz Cascade (Finishing)

Safale US-05 Dry Yeast
We highly recommend purchasing dry yeast during the warmer months. While we offer a complimentary ice pack with all liquid yeast orders, the combination of warmer temperatures and shipping times makes it difficult for your liquid yeast to remain chilled.
A very well balanced brew thats not your typical overly hopped IPA. If you like an IPA that's well hopped try the black IPA as this is much more mellow than that but still very tasty.
