The de-gassing process occurs at the end of fermentation. Degassing is simply a vigorous stirring of the wine for several minutes. It is a necessary step which will eliminate the excess carbon dioxide bubbles from the wine. This plastic mixer attaches to any electric hand drill for degassing wine. The length is 24".
Do not use for more than a few 10-15 second bursts. If you over-use the mix-stir you risk adding oxygen to your wine.
